LPC - Lube Processing Corporation Hellas SA

LPC HELLAS S.A. will act as an end-user, providing a suitable test-bed environment for the proposed wireless R-Fieldbus system. The lubricants production refinery equipment is operating on 56,000 square meters located at Aspropyrgos, Attica, with one hydrogen processing unit and one propane unit for residue processing and bright stock production. It is considered worldwide as one of the most modern and efficient refineries of its kind. In this proposal, an process application in Unit 300B is proposed by LPC, concerning real time monitoring of important working parameters, local control motivated by automatic on-line viscosity measuring and wireless transmittance of the process values for further data processing.

LPC is responsible for workpackage WP5 - Field Trials.
