Natural light changes during the day, affecting the identification process. To avoid this, a section of the roller belt is inclosed in a box provinding a controled light environment.

When the PC (PC6) connected to the camera detects a part a TCP/IP datagram is sent to the main PC (PC1) containing a section of the image.

The main PC processes this section to obtain the color of the part: White, Gray or Black.
