The Intranet Server runsa in PC1 and provides not only information about the system to the devices connected to the Field Trial Intranet but also the possibility to interact with the system. The information is exchanged using UDP packets. The Intranet Server manages the broadcasts of image streams from all the video cameras on the field trial (the broadcast itself is done by the Image Center application).

All the Intranet Server parameters may be changed or checked on the user interface.

On the PC1 side the Intranet Server interacts with the HMI application for most of the system parameters and with the Image Center for the video stream service.

On the Intranet side there are two Client Applications with access to all the Intranet Server services, and output-only applications like the HMD application (that displays image streams or alarm messages) and the SMS gateway (that forwards selected alarm messages via SMS).
