The Siemens Automation and Drives Group (A&D), Nuremberg/Erlangen, Germany is a world leader in automation. A&D offers standard products for the manufacturing and process industry as well as electrical installation technology and system solutions for machine tools, for example, or even solutions for whole industries such as the automation of entire automobile factories or refineries. The optimized interplay of A&D products leads to cost reductions for investments as well as for the whole lifetime of the system.
