About the City Maps

For those who will be attending the Main Conference (even if also attending the Satellite Workshops), we suggest Hotel Ipanema Porto or Hotel Tuela Porto, which are at walking distance of the ECRTS'03 conference venue (Biblioteca Almeida Garrett & Seminário de Vilar). Additionally, less expensive hostel rooms are available at Seminário de Vilar.

For those who will only be attending the Satellite Workshops on the 1st July (Tuesday), we suggest Hotel Beta Porto or Residencial Palanca, which are much closer from ISEP-IPP (the venue for Satellite Workshops), than the other hotels.

For those willing to stay in five stars hotels we suggest Hotel Le Meridien Park Atlantic Porto, Porto Palace Hotel, Hotel Ipanema Park and Hotel Tivoli Porto.

All the prices mentioned include Breakfast.
We would advise you to contact the Hotel as soon as possible, in order to guarantee vacant rooms.
Do not forget to mention that you will be attending the ECRTS03 to get the rates presented.

The AeroBus

The AeroBus is a service of STCP (www.stcp.pt) that assures the fast linking between the Airport and the main Hotels of Porto, and it stops at Boavista (very close to most of the hotels) and Av. dos Aliados. At the Airport, the AeroBus is available at the arrivals terminal. It is also available at the exit of the Hotels.

You can ask the AeroBus driver to leave you at one of the hotels which appear in the map of the AeroBus, on: http://www.stcp.pt/en/mapas/aerobus.htm (please note that all the Hotels mentioned in our site are included).

There are trips every 30 minutes, during all the week, between 7:00 and 19:00, with specialized drivers and modern buses, equipped with air-conditioned.

The ticket costs 2,60 Euros (the english version of the STCP's page is outdated) and can be bought directly to the bus driver, being valid in any line of the STCP during the whole day.

The trips to the Airport begin at Av. dos Aliados. Concerning trips beginning in your Hotel, you will have to make a reservation by internet, filling the reservation form, by phone on: +351 22 507 1054(Monday-Friday: 8h30 - 20h00, Saturdays: 8h30 - 12h30), or making the request at your Hotel.

Taxi services

You can also take a taxi, for which a Airport-Hotel ride costs around 20 Euros.
